Swiss adventurer Bertrand Piccard unveiled the Solar Impulse Prototype June 26 in Zurich-Duebendorf, Switzerland. The plane was created to fly around the world powered entirely by solar energy. With lithium batteries it will be capable of flying at night as well. Two videos are presented. The original is in Swiss-French. The second was created in English by the BBC. No matter what your language- both are worth viewing for the stunning visuals.
